This forum has separate sections for 2.3, 3.7 and 5.0L engines. Why not have separate sections for auto and manual transmissions?

Apparently, that's your answer - there is enough discussion of the separate engines to warrant individual sections for them. But for the number of threads and amount of discussion that takes place regarding transmissions and drivetrain, well, notsomuch...

I hadn't thought about it like that. My brain organizes info like a computer into folders. Having everything stuck in one drawer is hell when your OCD.
