oh yeah, thanks ozs550 ! i didn't see the small BOLD print about doesn't apply to export. DUH.

Given the anguish that a lot of members have gone through over number plates on the front, not having dealers drilling holes in bumpers etc (especially the Europeans on this forum) anyone know exactly what the "front licence plate bracket" is that is starting to show up on all the window stickers as an automatic extra?

NSC code stands for "nah screw chevy". its a ford thing.

I am guessing - but I hope that it is a bracket that comes with the car that the dealer meant to attach to the front of the car for the number plate.
I have asked my dealer not to use it.

if you look at the UK user manual the front licence plate bracket is in there and shows how its attached, i'm pretty sure they are coming from ford with the bracket attached. will the dealer really let you drive off with no front plate as i thought it was up to them to make sure its road legal etc, but then again it is a dealership so i dunno. i don't care i'll have it how they give it to me and then start chopping and changing the stuff i don't like.
