Just a question for you guys more in the know about Australian Mustang orders than I do. Are you getting all 3 engine options or just the EB and V8. Some people on Facebook (The Mustang Mafia page) are also arguing due to some article from Inquisitr.com (which had comments below about how inaccurate the article was, BTW) that the "GT" can get the EB as an "option".

Now, I'm pretty darn sure that an EB is an EB and a GT (V8) is a GT, but they aren't having it.

All the local reports to date have stated we are not getting the V6, only the EB and the GT.

The EB as our base model and the GT above this. The convertible will be the top dollar model. I understand all variants will have the PP (including autos and the 'vert - can anyone confirm?).

Nothing special yet
I don't think they will have 100% PP, judging by what they said and pics I have seen. It seems the brakes will be standard (well maybe EB gets GT brakes, but GT doesn't look to get Brembos). I think most parts of the PP will come on them, suspension, braces, etc, but I don't think it will 100% be the PP. I think maybe even gearing might be standard.

I just hope we don't get the spoiler, or at least have the option to delete it, but this as an option for us seems unlikely.

Thanks Dan for the detailed PDF. I didn't realise we had our own version of the PP although it looks like the only real difference will be the 3.55 gears instead of the 3.73.

I assume we get the larger radiator and all the detail suspension changes because I see we get the mono-tube shocks and Brembos (V8).

It will be interesting to see if we get the spoiler delete.

Beemer thats going asap
3.55 means shorter ratios yeah ? How do I find out what speed each gear top out at ?
Sounds like a stupid question i know but 2nd gear in my zed top out at 90 odd which was epic annoying on mountain drives

No our 3.55 gears will be slightly taller than the US 3.73.

Slower acceleration (marginal), lower RPM at any given speed.

May well better suit our 0 - 100 km/h (62MPH) than the US 0 - 60 MPH, ie 2nd can pull to 100+km/h.

Bit better suited for long distance cruising, better fuel consumption.
