Dropped it off this morning for the 2nd replacement dash due to leather bubbling..... fingers and toes crossed. They really did a fantastic job the first time. Hoping for the same results.

I, again, have them looking at the seat "not" cooling problems. I am sure that WON'T get fixed.

Damn, that sucks. I'm supposed to bring mine in one f these damn days (works crazy) to get the dash replaced. I'm starting to think it'd be better to wait a year or so before getting it done, maybe by then the process they use to adhere the "leather" pieces to the dash will be fixed and the old dashboard inventory will be gone.
Sorry to hear about that though, that sucks. I told my service advisor to feel free to take all the time they need, I told him I know it's a very detailed job, so no rush. I'd rather wait a little longer and get it back right than get a quick turnaround and find out something is rattling.

Yikes... that sucks. I would be scared to take it back a second time.
The first time went way too well......so, yes, I'm worried.

I'm cautiously optimistic that mine will not be affected by this bug. I too have the premium trim and accents package. I can't believe that piece requires a whole dash replacement. Blows my mind

Google the "Lemon Law" rules in GA.

I've been reading up on CA rules for my own problematic ride

That's a shame man, totally unacceptable. Also my seats are not cooling either...I'll never get these options ever again

Good luck!

Yes....fully aware....was service manager and IT manager at a Honda Dealer for 12 years until moving fully into IT. I know all the details of that law in Georgia.

It is not that difficult for repairs to fall into that area.

I plan on giving them all the time they need to do the work. No phone call, no stopping by...no rush at all. If it takes 10 days again, it will be agony for me, but so be it.

I was told by Ford CSR that engineering said that some leather is not adhering properly to the dash. I test drove a different Mustang before settling on this one. It had the same problem in the same spot.

The photos I've seen from other guys with this issue have had it in the same area as well. My original dash and the first replacement were both in the same area.

The Service Manager said he inspected the last one before it was installed and the bubble was not there. They completed the work, detailed the car, and then put it in the lot to await my arrival. As soon as we walked up to the car, the bubble was very evident. The Service Manager was speechless. He just shook his head and said, "That was not there earlier today."

So......we'll see how this goes. 3 times will make it qualify completely under the GA Lemon Law. I really don't want that at all. I love this car. Finding another DIB with the 50th package, and my other options, might be very difficult this late in the model year.

it will probably just happen again and again until they find the root cause of the issue (air pockets forming when glue is subjected to extreme heat?) and change the manufacturing process.

Thank you for the updates, and patience, lwilliams. Be sure to address any concerns with your CSM.
