Hi all following on from the AS built data modification thread to enable features with these cars i thought I would start a seperate thread for those who have succesfully enabled certain paramters.

From my understanding a few people on here have already enabled th eline lock capability wondering what other mods have been done for example anyone enabled the remote start facility yet on the auto cars?

Who has enabled line lock? Only Mustang Motorsport to the best of my knowledge?

We can all do it if we want with an ODB box and some freely available software, don't go paying the huge $$ that some are charging for this, but I don't think it is something that should be bragged about too much as it may attract the wrong attention. First rule of line lock is that you don't talk about line lock.
ozracer have the ODBlink MX Bluetooth on the way and due next week happy to add to this when I get the chance to fiddle, LL is not the reason for getting it though.

I'm very interested in this topic, the thing I was waiting on was the digital speedo. Given the gt350 has it, I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually. A couple of aussies have figured out the line lock, will do that too if they figure out the speedo

Line lock is a simple tick box in the ABS and IPC modules using FORScan software and a decent ODB dongle. Anyone charging for it is just taking the piss. Feature works as advertised, provided much amusement and maybe a bit too much tyre wear.

I've also disabled horn honk if car is running and key removal detected and driver seat belt chime. Not much else you can do at present.

So that means we can enable reverse sequential signal as well and have US Style tail light

Sometimes it is not just a software change. What hardware your car is made with is also an issue. USA tail light wiring is different to export, so not as easy as just changing software configurations. Remote start needs a different transponder, aussie uses different frequency to USA. I'm not sure if any other hardware is also involved.
I believe the dash is different for the speed display also.

I've got a manual. My SS has remote start, novelty wears off pretty quick.

No need to PM mate. I'm using a Bluetooth OBDLink MX. Don't get the WiFi version, I did the kickstarter for that and it was total junk. No idea if they've sorted the software issues with them but the BT version works perfect.
