Hi All,
I'm trying to enable line lock on my 2017 auto GT. I have the forscan app and the suggsted cable.
I can link to the car and see the data but its all in letters and numbers (code). Does anyone know what codes to change and what to change them to?
i have seen that you need to change one in the IPC and another in the ABS modules. I have seen mixed responses with some saying change the as built codes and others saying dont change the as build codes.....
in any case does anyone have this level fo detail to offer?
I have been looking for some time online and there seems to be lots of discussion but no detail.

Have you read this 228 page discussion? https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/modifying-as-built-data-guide.61773/

Sorry I'm late to the party. I've been busy with non-mustang stuff for a fair while now. I did my 19' but it may be different from the earlier FM's. I'll have a look later in the week if you want. It wasn't hard. I'll just have to find my references. What I can say is ALWAYS save off a copy of your as built data from the Ford website from your VIN AND save off a copy of your cars as built data via Forscan as well. I have not bothered to compare them yet but I know I have both files all saved in a few places (and labelled meaningfully) if I ever need to change back.

Ok super old thread - but did not seem to reach a conclusion, so thought I'd add some info based on my experience enabling the Line Lock app on a 2019 Bullitt RHD / Australian delivered car.

1. Get FORScan software on a laptop and enable the free trial extended license or buy one - I used version 2.3.64

2. Get OBD2 -> USB cable for FORScan - I got the OBDLink Ex one recommended by FORScan (as that dynamically supports the CANbus and so on)

3. Connect laptop to car via OBD port and first up FORScan as per instructions

4. To enable line lock you need to make one change in the ABS module and two changes in the IPC module, so make a back-up of the as-built configuration for each of those as your first step

5. You don't need to modify the Hex values - both ABS and IPC module have a FORScan human-readable configuration module implemented which you can use. So first Run/load and open the ABS one, find the "Line Lock" item (which will be set to "disabled") and set it to "enabled", then save the updated config and follow any FORScan instructions.

6. Run/load and open the IPC human-readable configuration module - you will see two Line Lock related instrument parameters, "Line Lock" and "Line Lock Control", both "disabled" - set both to "enabled", then save the updated config and follow any FORScan instructions.

When you next start the car, the Line Lock app should now be available (when in drag strip mode and maybe track mode as well?), and should work a treat! Suggest watching a youtube vid or two to learn how to use it properly - off public roads and preferably at the track only of course! :-).
