Engine turned dashboard look for Aussie cars?

One thing I really wanted was the US engine turned dashboard look. I think the US version is just a wrap? Was thinking of doing something similar but cant find anything for a RHD. Anyone seen anything that is designed for RHD?

I don't think the US versions are wrapped as they are actual aluminium I believe. There are some brushed metal vinyls available in vehicle wrap film but not quite the same affect as the machine turned look.

Someone in melbourne had theirs wrapped in black brushed aluminium with gloss black accents. Looks great!

That looks great, I personally am not a fan at all of the aluminium look.... Might have to investigate this further. Got any more information?

Yes I was thinking a black suede finish might look good.

I don't think its possible to do engine turning on such a curved surface. Engine turning is just spinning a brush so the surface needs to be flatish. Whatever it is it isn't thick like vinyl. I'm not up on Hydro dipping but maybe its that or something similar.

Yeah dipping sounds more likely. It would be easiest option for large runs.

I'm wrapping mine but not sure if I go satin black or gloss black. Need the car first though!

What I would really like is the same set up 2 vents and 2 instruments. I have seen a pic of one on a chinese site so it must be available.

I have wrapped mine, dash and even the door panels in carbon fibre look.

Will do a video of the whole interior when ready. Waiting on my real carbon fibre steering wheel and new shift nobs and new integrated vent gauge
