APEX released their new Forged Sprint line of wheels and damn do they look good! Higher load rating than their partially forged line and lighter weight; only 18 pounds!
Man, I wish I was sponsored by them...

They do look good and not terribly expensive for what it seems to be forged monoblock wheel. 18" sizes only though - at least for now.

Makes sense. 18" hits the broadest market.
That weight savings is so tempting. The carbon 350R wheels are about 18 lbs as well, right? Sadly, not in my budget any time soon šŸ˜

I already have 2 sets of apex 19x11 wheels that I got this last year. Now really wish I would have put that money towards calipers so I could drop to a 18" wheel. Finding tires for a 19" wheel isn't fun either...
Rotational mass is huge in road racing. I had a set of D sports for my Boss think they were about 19#s compared to a set of eneki's that were 24#, and you could tell the difference, ran my best times on the D sports.

I figured out my 20ā€ street only setup.
My 19x10 Apex track setup might be turning into 18x11 Apexā€™s it looks like šŸ˜†
I didnā€™t care to do the extended studs a few months back, but now I donā€™t really give a shit and would rather have on track performance.

In an S550 GT with PP1 Brembos, we can run an 18x11 with a 305, and only need extended studs and spacers up front right?
Is this the setup with backspacing, if so?
