One of mine is like this too, but the gap is on the bottom. Dealership said they replace them under warranty all the time. They just order new and add additional 2 sided tap to put them on correctly. I had them get me the vent, I just need to put it on.
I already have 2 sets of apex 19x11 wheels that I got this last year. Now really wish I would have put that money towards calipers so I could drop to a 18" wheel. Finding tires for a 19" wheel isn't fun either...
Rotational mass is huge in road racing. I had a set of D sports for my Boss...
I installed the ZL1 hook on mine last weekend, 2020, it had the same mount. Wish I could utilize that, but just installing the ZL1 hook over changing out the front facia is cheaper. Really the GT350 a track built car should have came with front and rear mounts from the factory.
I was just there last week and the car I was in had the button for heated and cooled seats. So it probably came with that option and the other seats and they swapped in the recaro seats. The buttons did light up but didn't do anything. Kind of like you have the parking brake but the cable is...
I don't recall if there was or not, there were not many more than what is in the picture. I couldn't get any closer as these were behind a fenced off area, just had room to stick my phone through and snap a pic.
@honeybadger have you ran the 315/705/19 on a 19x11 rim? That was my plan but was questioning it after I read this thread. Been a slow start to get on the track this year for me but was going to order a set here in the next couple weeks and didn't want to end up with rubbing issues.
I have the studs and they are on my list to replace, but never looked into the procedure to replacing them yet. I was hoping it was not this much work, on my S197 I just hammered them out and pulled in with an impact. I did this every couple years, so they always knocked out easily and never...
RPM would be closest as stated. I have spent many track days out at MPH in Hastings too. Not sure where you are at in NW Iowa, but HPT in Topeka could be within 3-4 hours and Brainerd raceway be around the 4-6 hour drive too.
I had someone else local that have received an extra set up maximum motorsport plates. I went ahead and purchased that set from him and installed them. At the time I had a track event coming up and didn't think the dealership would receive the Ford set and get them installed by then.
After...
I had a similar fender vent issue along with some panel gap issues. talking to the body shop they said they do not see many straight ones, and that a Ford engineer had recently reached out to them about the issues. The body shop here says they replace both vents on just about all the ones they...
