Mine on the drivers side works fine. The passenger sie doesn't work at all. I've yet to take it back, though.

I love my cooled seats. Nothing better than cruising with the windows down on a nice day with the cooled seats on high. I've found that turning them on the lowest setting during a long drive keeps my butt/back from getting all sweaty, too.

the cooled seats in my F150 sucked, they suck more in my GT. I new when i bought my car that the premium seats were heated, and had a useless cool button.

I use Heat all the time, love it, cant live without, need it, dream about it, wish i could wrap my self in its cozy greatness right now..

If the OE Recaro's were not cheapened by the cost cutters and came with seat heaters I'd be in heaven rolling in my 5.0 with the hardtop on and my recaro's on hot. what? sorry its early just got up.

I hate to admit this, but the Recaro's in my Evo X were heated, WTF Ford.

Just add your own seat heaters for about $70. I did it in my 2006GT and daughter's 2012V6.

Warm weathers finally arrived here in the northeast so really havent had a good chance to try them out...the few times i have it seems like it takes awhile to cool even on high...the juries still out on my opinion...

Heated seats worked fantastically for me during the winter.

Cooling seems to kinda suck though, I can barely feel it on the bottom and didn't notice it on my back at all.

My cooled seats work brilliantly - both on the seat bottom and back.

I get bottom and lower back cooled. To those not noticing it on back, are you wearing a jacket? Or more than just one layer on your back?

I will admit, it does take a bit to get to a decent 'cool' temp, but once there I will typically turn my down as it gets too cool. But mind you the weather has not been hot here yet.

I can't imagine describing mine like this... makes me wonder if a lot of us have somewhat defective and inadequate seats...

Even in gym shorts and a t-shirt I'd call them inadequate. And I'm only in PA and a pretty average sized guy. I can feel the bottoms in jeans somewhat but forget feeling the backs in anything other than a lightweight T-shirt.

I'd rate them a 2/10 on ability to cool.

they DO cool the back in my experience, but it is not a very good back cool and it is inconsistent. The seat bottom on the other hand is cold as F haha. The back cooling is the most important part IMO because that is where you sweat more, even with AC on. I will be bringing her in to bother the dealer about it, hopefully Ford improves the back.

Again the seatbottom cooling is VERY cool :headbang::lol:

I'm wondering the same thing, since there seems to be a noticeable discrepancy from the feedback in this thread. I'm thinking of visiting my dealer one of these days to sit in several S550s with cooled seats and see if they're all the same or if there's some kind of defect going on.
