Anyone scraped the front splitter yet?

I have been driving my GT350 for only 6 days, and I have scraped my front splitter twice already....:frusty: Anyone else?

My first time was coming out of a small parking lot. I went super slow with an angle, but still scraped it... It was the right side.

My second time was going through a speed bump. I guess I hit the brake too late, so the front end was diving while reaching the speed bump.... I should have braked earlier and went slower... The speed bump was also not flat. I only scraped my left side of the splitter.

Now it is even... I scraped both sides... Fortunately, it is not visible, unless I reach underneath to see it.

Why its nice that its plastic. Just think if it was CF

I'd thinking about putting sensor on camera of some sorts up front. The GT350 is fairly large. I can see the front hitting a parking block or curb in due time.

Yeah replaced. Have you priced it? I haven't installed mine yet. I'll be getting a R splitter. The price keeps dropping. I'll wait it out until then.

I am hoping by the time I actually need one, the price will be somewhat sensible.

I want the splitter and what it is designed to do, so I will have to deal with it,
when it gets scraped, hopefully like tires, I get at least two years

These bump stops are everywhere around here , i'll TRY and be very carefull but not looking forward the first time i scratch it !!!

Twice already. I'll get use to it. In our world of speed bumps & steep driveways, there's no way around it.

Yes it truly is inevitable and in the end no big deal as it is a rather stout piece. Within 2 days I had already cracked my CF splitter on my Z06/Z07. I just lived with it as though nothing happened to ensure good mental health ;)....Steve

1600 miles and 24 hours of driving from MN to FL and I scrapped it once already, but not visible from the top at least.
