Anyone port their own manifold?

Just curious if anyone else has done a diy port job on their manifold? I ported my own blower on my 03 cobra when i had it which yielded decent results. I used a dremel,sanding drums,flap wheels. I would assume it would be easier to do the plastic manifold. Anyone else do it?

What does that even mean? I did a dyno before i ported the blower and after to see gains...

A ported 17 or 18 manifold will make decent gains over stock for the price/work done. I would say go for it honestly. Or if you're in the market for a ported 18 manifold, we sell them as well. Looking at a manifold I have on the bench, it looks like most of the gains will come from cleaning up the squeezed-out glue. I have no idea how well these line up with the head ports. Usually some gains there.

Yep. Ported my '17. Now here's the key that I see very few people do. VERIFY with a flow bench. You want as close to equal flow as possible especially with a PFI vehicle.

Equalize the ports is priority number one. Flow increase is a side affect of the process which is fine by me haha. I generally don't muck with it to much.
