Just wondering if anyone else is using software like SCT or HPTuners to do their own tuning? I use HPTuners software and other than limited scanner data I am really impressed with all of the parameters we have access to with it.

Really just seeing if anyone else self-tunes to bounce ideas/configs/issues/etc back and forth.

I've done some tuning with HP Tuners. Great Software. Haven't tuned with it on the S550 but the VCM suite 2.25 version should be even better.

I'm ready for the 2.25 scanner to be released. the 2.24 is rather limited on this platform for logging data vs mapped points etc.

I have tuned a few coyotes with the 2.25, but my 15 is the first auto and it has been a learning experience to say the least. Most of the engine parameters are similar to the 11-14's minus more mapped points and the variable cam profile on the 15s are WAY different from the previous coyote.

The 15 auto trans also is quite a bit more involved than the previous model but I have gotten mine pretty close to dialed in, shifting at 7100rpm, cut the shift times down tremendously, and upped the shift firmness slightly. I'm sure there is still some improvement that can be made, but pretty happy with it so far.

Yeah the Engine on the S550 although coyote, has some very different things going on up top. I can see how there will be some learning curves. I'm going up to 10psi and using HP Tuners. Hoping for 650whp..

Nice, I have been looking at the 2.9 whipple kit. I will have to continue to just look from a distance for a while, at least until we get a new house. 650whp should be attainable goal for you with 10lbs of boost given the supporting mods.

Right now I am on nitrous, still playing around on a 100 shot with plans to go with a 150 shot. I am going to wait until I get a meth injection kit before I up the spray. Cheaper than race gas and I have no interest in going to E85 with the limited availability around here.

100 shot is fun and very conservative. I'm a fan of E-85....but we need E-85 friendly fuel pump/parts. It is only available in a few places in San Diego so I'll stay with pump gas and occasional race fuel.
