Hey everyone. I just ordered from their website for my differential bushing replacements for $299. Mine have been torn for longer than I’d like to admit and they seem to be so so about shipping times.

I’m kind of anxious and want to replace this stuff ASAP. But I want to know if you guys have had experience with this company before? I should’ve just bought from lethal performance but Kelltrac says they don’t do order cancelations.

Kelltrac is great. Kelly knows more about getting late model Mustangs and Camaros to hook than anyone.

Kelly does provide very good customer service. I bought a pair of his ultra spec inverted double adjustable drag shocks for my car and he’s responded in depth to all of my emails, in an effort to assist me in getting them dialed in.

He might even have some great tips on removal and replacement of your diff. bushings. If there is a wait on shipping, maybe you can utilize that time to remove the torn bushings in advance and be ready to install the KellTracs when they come in.

I ordered the IRS subframe to chassis stud kit maybe a year ago. Shipping was a little slow, but nothing terrible. Everything arrived in great condition and the Stud Kit was great! I highly recommend it!

I ordered the diff bushing kit and it arrived ahead of schedule. Install was straight forward and they work great. They actually IMPROVED my NVH since my old bushings were completely shot.

This is awesome to hear!

I’m hoping it’ll clear up the rear clunk at low speeds over bumps (assuming the diff hits the subframe when I hit bumps causing the noise) and the vibration im having in my floorboards. Started with the torn bushing so I’m assuming that’s it.

Unfortunately it’s a daily driver and I have to drive it until the parts come in and my car goes to the shop. I’m not doing the install myself! But I appreciate the tips. I’m beyond pumped for the installed new bushings.

Is that noise over bumps constant or every once in a while?

The only time I notice it is when I go over lane dividers at slower speeds (going into my apartment complex) or big bumps in the street in my parents neighborhood.

Other than that, dead silent. I really don’t know what else it could be. It happened around the same time I noticed my diff bushings torn. I hope it’s the cause of my clunking noise in the rear and the floorboard vibration.

Okay, I was just wondering. While your mechanic is in there, I suggest having him inspect the driveshaft carrier bearing. It looks like a flimsy design and we had one fail within a couple of thousand miles on a brand new Lincoln MKX on our way to church one Sunday morning some years ago. There’s a company out there that makes what appears to be a robust looking carrier bearing for these cars. Have a look here.

Do you think the diff bushing being torn all the way around the bolt could be the reason for this clunking?

I gotta see if the carrier bearing is okay. I hope it is.

Yes, I do think the torn bushing could be the cause. The carrier bearing could also be another culprit.

Just texted the shop, she said they’ll look over the carrier bearing when the drive shaft and stuff are taken out
