I've been told in another thread that this is a Stock order as opposed to a retail order. The VOC says "Order Type 2". The dealer explicitly told me it would be a retail order after I read on these forums that retail orders had priority over stock.IF this is real and you did have a retail order...how in the HELL did you get yours before people with retail orders that have them placed 5/20. I understand Stock before retail on a new model, but retail vs. retail should be by order placed, or at least blended in some kind of way that it works from the back.
If you have a VIN then it is coming.... mostly likly with the rest of the stock shipment. Hang in there with the stock.I've been told in another thread that this is a Stock order as opposed to a retail order. The VOC says "Order Type 2". So am I better or worse off at this point for being stock rather than retail? At appears I got a VIN number quicker than others, but does that mean it will be delivered before retail orders?
How could that happen if it's still in order processing? Ford just pulled the order from the dealer yesterday. If you have a VIN then it is coming.... mostly likly with the rest of the stock shipment. Hang in there with the stock.
If Ford pulls your order, then you get a vin and a build date. If you have a build date, then you will get your car.How could that happen if it's still in order processing? Ford just pulled the order from the dealer yesterday.
I've felt like my dealer has been incompetent throughout this whole process, but maybe that might actually work out in my favor in this circumstance since they told me it would be a retail order but placed it as a stock orderIf Ford pulls your order, then you get a vin and a build date. No one important from Ford is reading this forum lol.FORD:
Please give the OKTB so we retail orders can get a VIN. Many have been waiting for now close to 4 months and NO VIN yet while apparently you can waltz into the showroom and order one up dealer stock and get right to the front of the line so to speak.
Please consider.![]()
Don't be so sure of that. ;)No one important from Ford is reading this forum lol.
THIS^^^If they are watching, get these Job 2 stock coupe orders rolling.
I ordered my GT Premium Fastback with manual transmission at the dealer on 9/9 as a retail order. Order confirmation was dated 9/10 priority 10, order type 1. When I checked Cotus tonite, I see a VIN is now listed.
