I don't think hes lying, I just think hes mistaken. Also you said "orders", who are the other ones?

n00b question. Does the date for a job refer to the date they begin actually building for that job? Or the date they begin scheduling? ... Or something else entirely?

Thats a good question lol I think it is when they start scheduling retail for builds.

Job 2 here, my dealer got in touch few days ago with an update. All they said was that my order was designated 'clean' but still not scheduled for production. This sounds like a BS update, anyone else know anything about that?

I got a VIN this morning! No build date yet, but it's progress on the right day.

They haven't started scheduling Retail orders yet... simple as that.

i ordered my car 5/21 and im order number 1 in all of southwest florida. priority code 10. order type 1. I still to this point do not have a VIN or a sch build date.

How do you know which order priority you are in for your region?

Holy hell, that was fast. Good for you:headbonk:....Mine is a retail order placed on 5/21, no VIN. I am finally able to see it on COTUS today for the first time EVER!!..I have a fully loaded GT Fastback.

I just received this email from my dealer.

I asked if he was still 90% sure that my car was going to get pulled today. My car is priority 19 retail.

Yes, my scheduler already emailed me what he thinks will get pulled, and yours is on the top of the list. Only thing that would hold it up would be some kind of parts constraint needed to build it to your specs. On a new model that would be rare. I will let you know.

IF this is real and you did have a retail order...how in the HELL did you get yours before people with retail orders that have them placed 5/20. I understand Stock before retail on a new model, but retail vs. retail should be by order placed, or at least blended in some kind of way that it works from the back.
