Anyone know when Job #2 starts?

I just edited my order and the dealer sent me a printout of the order to confirm the changes. I noticed one of the options listed is "Job #2 Order", I assume this means my car will be part of the second run.

So is there any idea when Job #2 will start?

Hmmm. I suspect that there are an awful lot of us that are Job 1 and still not scheduled.

A lot of people that were Job #1 were bumped to Job #2 without their knowledge.

I ordered on 7/26 and was Job #1, but I'm now Job #2, and I changed nothing on my order.

The only way to know for sure is to ask your dealer for an updated VOC to see if it says "Job #2" in the left-hand column.

My dealer told me Monday that hes 90% sure my RETAIL order will be pulled sometime Thursday. Maybe he knows something, maybe he doesn't. This is from the General Sales manager from a very large lot in Jacksonville FL. The 11th was the previous date we all heard and then we heard there is a week delay. 1 week from the 11th is the 18th, so it does seem logical.

"Ford has not pulled any new orders for the last 5 weeks, and should start to pull vehicle orders out of the order bank next week, and I am about 90% sure yours will be pulled then. They pull 3-4 at a time, and yours is next on the list."

Ya my dealer told me I was in Job #1 when I placed my order since no other orders had been pulled. I'm actually glad that I was bumped to #2 otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make my edit.

After job one starts delivery. And hats still unknown. Grab a beer and be patient. There is never a guarantee on delivery even during normal times, much less when it's a new design and everyone wants there's before ford even said they would arrive lol

Hey I ordered the exact same day I have a feeling you'll get scheduled before me though since yours is a GT. According to my dealer, Ford is making the GT's first but that could be completely false.

I'm also Job 2, stock order. I've been told anywhere from 10/6 to mid October for production.

Similar story here. Ordered 7/14, Dealer stock, priority 20. My dealer continues to say mine will be what he calls a "launch car," in his initial allocation.

BUT, when I got my new order printout after adding 68B Premier interior, suddenly I was Job #2. I have never had a VIN or build date, so the 68B change didn't cause a delay, but I got moved from Job 1 to Job 2.

Considering it's 8 PM on 9/17, I am all over the thought that Job 2 will schedule on 9/18. I guess we'll see tomorrow!
