I will be going. I will not be there till Friday, just for the show. Their site shows some vendors there but mostly activities.

PITS is "Ponies In the Smokies". A yearly gathering in the Smoky mountains of East TN, Pigeon Forge and the Sevierville area. It's a week long event that culminates on Friday and Saturday. i am local to the event and I stay away. I hate touristy crowded areas so it's not my thing. I usually watch all the pro you tubers videos after the fact LOL..For us newbies what is pits ? Pits to me is followed by the word stop

I am local to the area and this will be my second year. In the past there haven't been many vendors and I dont think there will be that many more this year. Although I do believe VMP and Lethal are going to be there. But it is a great show, looking forward to going. Suppose to have my car in the outside show BUT it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate for that. :(

PITS - we inadvertently went 2 years ago. We planned to visit family in Knoxville and stay in Gatlinburg. Didn't know what the dates were for PITS but found out very quickly that it was the same time we were there. Not gonna lie, there were some VERY cool rides there.

If you've never been to PITS before, I highly recommend it. My first time and it is pretty amazing to see all the cool mustangs in one place. Last day tomorrow with the cruise-in.

I’m at PITS now and must say. This is a one and done for us. It was nice seeing all the cars. Got to meet bill from CJ real nice guy and Landon from LMR ALSO SUPER NICE. But disorganized and very congested with all the other non mustang tourist AND DUAL CORVETTE SHOW GOING ON. DIDN'T help. Jack ass police was no help either One minute they talk to u like you were a Person. Next they flip and telling u that u need to move. But this was just our experience hopefully other folks were better.
