Special question. How much would be a 7/125,000 and could I buy it also that I live in Canada? (I do know that I can use it all over the place in North America) Could you get the ESP approved with a "Canadian" VIN#?

My car is ad the dealer with 10 miles on it. Thanks!
Sorry, it's an old thread, but I thought Canadian owners would like to know that Flood Ford can provide an ESP for Canadian cars, but you need a US address to register it; PO boxes are okay. Not sure if that would complicate things if you need the warranty, but Flood's price is ~$900 (after conversion!) lower than the price they gave me at the dealership.

I purchased using the Z-plan so I was able to get the Z-plan price on the extended warranty as well. I bought 5 years/100k miles. The reason I did so was because:
* First year of production & first run of convertibles.
* I bought the full electronics suite (GT premium plus NAV) and they may not last for the duration.
* Lots of electronics hanging out in the sun when I have the top down.

Computers (i.e. camera being one of at least a couple dozen?) are fragile and will be among the first components to die. And computers are expensive to replace. Throw in the fact that this is a first-year model. (And my camera already hiccupped within 4 months of ownership.)

Thus, we bought the ESP.

Has anyone else had a problem getting their money back when trading their car with an ESP in on a new Mustang? Ford Credit is really slow in returning my money...it's been three months.

Wow some great information on extended warranties! Unfortunately I live in FL. one of the ESP dealers in this forum's posts indicated that I could just use a non Florida address to be able to purchase the ESP Warranty. Has anyone done this in Florida and can verify that this is honored. I would assume a FL Ford dealer would not price match since they know that no other dealer in Florida is cheaper?? Any thoughts.

They told me I had 30 days for a full refund so I did some research and asked them to price match floodford about 20 days later. They didn't so I put in the paper work to cancel.

Actually, I had to go over my finance papers to figure out the actual price of the warranty because they told me it was $1200. They snuck in some $400 warranty registration fee so I was pissed!
Did you have to actually go back to the dealership to cancel? I'm at 27 days, looking to fall in the "within 30 days" cancellation but my dealership is pretty dang far away.

Wondering if there was a way to start the process now, and then go in and sign whatever later.

I would call. You may be able to cancel over the phone.

I got the extended just because it's a new generation and you never know, yet, what lay down the road.

I ended up with a warranty issue, with my right front shock. Because the screw kit for it was on backorder, I had to wait a month and a half for it and it became a big fiasco. They upgraded mine to a 5yr 75k warranty to compensate me.

I did try to get mods instead but  they wouldn't do it.
