Just throwing this out there because I recently had a clunking noise coming from the front after I put in new struts. When I removed the original struts, I couldn't get the springs off with the rental spring compressor. I brought them to a chain-type garage and had them move the springs over...
I'll be using my stock springs with these and I'll see how it goes. I'm aiming for a Grand Touring/DD type ride. Not soft and floaty, but looking for more wheel control over typical small sharp bumps. I think another forum user had good results with the Steeda adjustables and stock springs...
I think they are going to be valved differently, just from a proprietary standpoint. Whether the change is significant or more importantly, better or worse for my purpose remains to be seen. The adjustability of these dampers was the key. An unknown fixed rate would have been a no-go, at...
Here is my close call. Normally, I would have turned sooner, but I knew no one was waiting behind me, so I decided to take my time. Glad I did as my two kids were on that side of the car.

Well, I picked up a set, so thanks for your post danny0441. I'm a repeat Steeda customer and almost pulled the trigger on the sale priced non-adj Pro-Actions, but decided to roll the dice on these. I really doubt that they will be worse than the stock dampers, especially my non-PP ones. I'll...
(Sorry, old thread revival, but I didn't want to start a new one and wanted to vent.) Been having a lot of cars want to race me lately. We're at the lights, no revving, but when the light turns green, full throttle up to the speed limit or slightly above. Thing is, they are all cars I...
Certain types of waxes are bad for vinyl. Waxes with petroleum distillates and abrasives are a no-no. I use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax on the stripes because I think I read that's what Big Worm Graphics uses. Works well.
Here is a Avery document with their suggested cleaners/waxes...
I have this one: https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/sum-640722-ss/overview/make/ford/model/mustang
It's definitely not too short. I cut the pipes about 6" after the resonator for the install.
I've got two of the same cameras, on three different cars now. With the first car, I went from suction cup to double sided tape on suction cup to adhesive mount from ebay. Just went straight to the adhesive mount on the next two cars. Should be able to find G1W specific mounts on ebay or the...
I'm having a problem with the switchbacks I picked up on ebay. They worked when I installed them in July. But now, in the daytime, the driver's side flashes erratically (see video below) and the passenger side doesn't light up at all. However, when the headlights are on, the switchbacks work...
If you mean the "creases" in the top surface of the spoiler, both sides of my spoiler look like your first picture, ie. fairly "sharp". It doesn't look anything like your second picture, but it could just be the lighting. Regardless, I don't notice any asymmetry anywhere on my spoiler, but...
I used the 3M "Extreme" tape from HD to mount my dash cam and my cam fell off on a hot summer day. That's why I went through the trouble of getting the VHB tape. The grip of that tape is an order of magnitude greater than the HD tape I had.
Have ebay switchbacks and Raxiom vent signals and they work fine together. I'm 6'2", but I don't have the seats positioned as high as possible and I can barely see the driver's side vent signal in the daylight. Someone closer to the wheel and higher up would probably see it better. At night...
Sorry about the dead thread revival, but this happened twice to me in the last few days and I gotta vent.
The other time, the same distance from the stores, a BMW pulled up on my passenger side seconds after I park. Later, we both got to our cars to leave at the same time, but I had my...
Those are the ones I went with. Arrived quickly and worked perfectly. Listing says it won't work for Mustangs, but that's obviously wrong. Came with resistors, but I don't mind the "gallop".
I can't see how big the gap is on your spoiler. I don't have a gap in my trunk/spoiler; the edge of the tape lines up with the edge of the spoiler.
Maybe use a thin bead of silicone? Might look like cr@p, though.
Agree. I went the same route with a JBL GT-BassPro12 sub instead of the RF sub. The JBL sub is also powered, costs around the same as the RF, has a built in LOC and auto on, but has a fairly big footprint relative to the Mustang's trunk. Compared to those same JBL rear deck speakers I also...
