Really depends on the size of that +15 wheel. But it's doable with camber.

For example, a very popular wheel up front for road raced cars is a 11" +24 offset with 305 tires. With a -3* camber it tucks pretty well and doesn't look pokey. For reference, a 10" wide wheel with +15 actually sits 4mm further inward than the aforementioned 11" wheel. A 9.5" wheel with that same +15 offset will sit even further in. So it's not too crazy of a combination, but will require camber and wear out the tires quicker.

Like @EFI noted, it depends on the width of the wheel.

A 9-inch wide wheel with +15mm offset sits completely different than an 11-inch wide wheel with +15mm offset. Here's a visual:

I get it.. specifically I'm looking at a 20x9 with 15 offset

You'll be fine. For reference my wheels below are 10" +34 offset and with the factory -1* camber. Your 9" +15 offset will sit 6mm further out than mine so just about flush with the fender.

considering I plan on using a 255/35/20 up front, im thinking the wheel lip will be sticking out more than the tire... so if it sits flush, I might just have to pick them up for $100 for the pair... only thing im not sure of is the 5x115 vs 5x114.3 .... considering how sloppy chinese manufacturing processes are, I have a feeling the wheels will bolt up just fine

so it will stick out 0.3 inches more... 7 mm.... seems like it could work fine

That bolt pattern variance seems unwise.

I hate quoting images because it just janks up the thread imo, so I won't. What website did you use for that wheel/tire comparison?

Even with the narrower tire, you may need to dial in some camber - too close to tell.

As for the bolt pattern, go 5-114.3. 5-115 will bolt up however the mounting pad will be off center on the hub which could cause vibration issues and stress to the studs.

I was thinking of boring out the stud holes on the 5x115 an extra mm so they can mount flush with the hub
