I don't believe that is completely true. DD was blaming its customers for this issue. It's obvious from this thread alone that this can't be the issue unless we are all dumb asses. I should not have to fix something that I paid good money for. The factory incandescent unit's have no issues as far as I know of with moisture getting inside.3. The guy in those shots fired videos is strictly looking for subscribers, he really doesn't care about you or I, guaranteed!
The delay in my replacement as it was explained to me was that DD is currently redesigning the lights. I'm guessing they have learned the cause and how to fix the issue with the current production lights, so that they do not have this occur again. If it weren't for things like this thread and that video you referenced being brought to the public, I don't know if DD would have been as quick to redesign the LED's.
With that said, its hard to get bent out of shape with DD. Their customer service is excellent, and I have yet to have them deny a warranty claim (Two faulty products). They have strived to take care of their customers and seem to be holding up to their 3 year warranty claim.
