Diode Dynamics and side marker light removal

I recently bought the switchback set, which includes the actual switchback light to replace the turn signal and a side marker lights. I was able to install the switchbacks just fine, but I'm unable to unscrew the smaller side marker light.

Its just so hard to turn it as its tight compared to switching their turn signal. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to get the side marker lights out? I used all my mite to pry the damn thing off the housing and so I couldnt!

I recently installed these same lights from DD and they were a breeze to install. This video posted above shows the install. Just twist and pull. I only had on bulb giving me a hard time... the passenger side, side marker. Seemed to be in tightly. A little wiggling and twisting and it popped off. DD has some great lights and excellent customer service.
