I have the ESS kit and you’ll love the whipple. At the end of the day, a boosted coyote is always the right decision, regardless of power adder.

The instant torque you would get from a whipple or PD blower will be greater than any other supercharger/turbo types

I have a manual Whipple car, and my buddy has a '19 ESS G3X his is on ethanol and has much better suspension mods. Mine is not yet on ethanol, but soon will be. Both cars are a lot of fun. I love PD cars having come over from an S197 GT500. That torque is intoxicating.

I’d be curious to find out if Wengerd does anything with drive modes with his tunes. Drag strip mode is now beastly compared to normal.

Having an Edelbrok supercharger on my old 2013 FR-S, i really loved it but it kind of sucked in every day driving in stop and go, it would sometimes buck and kick crawling in 1st gear speeds when crawling around. Something to do with the MAF signal being too turbulent. But it really made that car the perfect sports car. Torque starting at 2500 rpm and power all the way up to 7500 rpm.

I sometimes regretted it due to the drive ability issues, in my experience it's the everyday driving experience that will make you regret it, not the full throttle stuff. And so much of that is tuning, and tuners don't want to spend a ton of time on your car unless you're willing to blow a ton of cash.
