Any recommendations for a creeper seat/stool?

Yep, the "bucket stool" is a classic but not particularly comfortable. I'm also one who has done that in the past. BUT, that was when I was younger. Now, I prefer a real seat that is comfortable. Wheels take as much time as washing the car so having a seat that isn't hard plastic and having everything needed right at hand is the ticket for me now.

A very good-looking product, OD but a bit more than I need. That guy would take up some storage space, too but man, what a Cadillac. :-)

I used a pretty universal garage stool / creeper for a while.

I would say that for taller vehicles, these stools seem to be pretty good. However I found on lower cars like the Mustang or my sedans, this seat was just a touch too high, even on the lowest position, meaning I would haunch over to clean wheels.

I bought what seems to be the universal detailer's seat late last year. These are sold under a variety of brand. If I had access to the Griot's version in Australia, that would be the one to buy due to it's padded seat.

What I love about this seat is how it dips down in the middle, making it a better height for detailing, especially wheels.

If you want to burn some money, in a good way , the Vyper Chair seems to be the new benchmark for garage stools. Not my style to be honest, I feel like they are just a bit too high.

The hard seat is a question because of having broken my tail bone so many times from bmx bikes in the late 70's-80's and 4' tall ramp jumps and landing on my backside.
Many also look like anything more than a 110lb blondie will break them.
ATM I have a milk crate with a plywood base with casters, and a computer chair bottom, the holes in the crate make it easy to hang of the wall, off the floor.

I just would like one that my legs don't goto sleep, get up and then having to stand still as the pins and needles ramp up, and hover while you wait for it to slowly fade away.
I learned not to bring my phone into the reading room and be playing bejeweled. As I sit on the thrown too long and if someone needs the room, Me having to try to walk with pins and needles, is comic gold.
The stones were not kidding when they wrote, what a drag it is getting old
