It's like all the downside of owning a black car without the benefit of being black and looking mean when clean. At least Kona always looks blue.

You're right, my Kona Blue 2010 GT500 would have purple undertones at night.

Yesterday after work I ran to the local Ford lot to stalk a new F150 in Antimatter.

It's so dark I thought the truck was black at first and just reflecting the sky (which it was as well). Only the parts in strong sunlight really showed much of any blue. There's some cool blue flake in it though looking at it dead on.

It's way too dark for me. I was hoping for something more like the True Blue on my '01 Bullitt. I have to say I like Kona better, which stinks now that it's off the menu.....

im with you man, i think KONA with white stripe is the best look. I wish they didnt discontinue it. i feel for 21 the carbonized grey may be the best option now?

I feel like Antimatter is the closest we'll get to a modern Night Mist Blue.

If I wrecked my Bullitt today, I'd be looking for another Bullitt, a Grabber Blue GT350 or a loaded GT in Antimatter.

Here is a picture of my Antimatter 2021. While I love the color, it looks black in some light conditions. I have gunmetal gray magnesium alloy wheels coming which will make the car a little more visually interesting and shed some weight.

This was just dropped off at my local Seattle Dealership today.

Untouched photos. Looked very dark to the eye, but when the sun hits it just right it is very cool! Still very dirty from rail/truck transport, as dropped off.

I want to love that color, but it's sooooo dark....kind of a shame that FPB is the next closest thing if you want a dark blue.

Very interesting color, far different than the Kona blue, which as others have said did have a purple hue at angles. I consider the anti-matter to be a black with a blue hue to it. Personally, I think these cars look good in all colors.

While I have the white and love it, I will say it's though because I liked the black, race red, kona blue, and iconic silver.

I had a 2010 GT500 Kona/Silver stripe. I looked for a Kona 2020 GT500 and of course, they were impossible to find. Although, I watched some videos and am happy that I ended up with the white as I was torn between the two.

Pictures rarely do these cars justice, a high-res camera is needed to really capture all of the reflections and details. My Oxford white is stunning in person however, in pictures it looks "good" but IMO not as striking as other colors.

I think Ford did a great job with the colors, I have yet to see one that doesn't look good.

Here is a picture of my 2010 and in some you can see the "purple" effect, which I personally liked.
