Anti-Sub belt mount

I saw somewhere a mount for anti-sub belt but can't locate the item. Basically a bar that attached across the rear seat bolts with mounting points for both anti-sub belt and mounts for lap belts.

Any help locating this item?

I was told by schroth that there is no proper way to mount a sub belt with a factory seat. I went with a ASM harness and was told that if I needed to pass a tech inspection, one could be mounted, but it would not be proper.

You are probably looking for the Brey-Krause harness bar. Other common purveyors of S550 safety gear are Watson Racing and Cooltech, who does have another harness bar.

Tom’s comment from Schroth is certainly true as well. Options are not good for a sub belt with factory seats.

I went with a Watson 4 point roll cage, schroth 4pt ask (competition model), and cooltech belt clips. Again, without swapping out the factory seats, the sub belt is not correct.

The ideal solution would be to have a slit in the seat just in front of your crotch area that allows the anti-sub belt to pass up through this opening and the opposite leg(s) to be secured through the floor pan with a properly sized backing plate. If you were building a dedicated track car this is the configuration you would most often see.

The trouble is that most GT350/R owners neither want to modify their seat bottom nor drill through the floor. As such, an indirect method is described by Schroth -

The indirect routing requires a type
of preloading of the anti-submarining straps during a frontal impact. This
is achieved by sitting on the anti-submarining straps, routing them
rearwards and attaching them in the region near or on the lap belt
anchorages.

PM me, I have a set of the rear sub mounts brand new sitting in my garage. I decided to go a different direction.
