I finally have my wheels coming after weeks and weeks of being on backorder. I actually had to find them elsewhere.
They are RTR tech 5's.

My question is are the stock tires for my 2019 PP1 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires ok to use with these or am I better off going with what is recommended?
I have dropped my car an inch with Steeda springs/shocks/struts. I currently have spacers and would like to ditch those and try to keep the flushed look, but close is ok with me. My rears right now have 20mm spacers and poke after the alignment.
I am keeping the staggered setup.

Here are the oem and RTR wheel specs from what I have found.

Fronts
Size: 19 x 9.5
Diameter: 19"
Width: 9.5"
Offset: 52.5mm

Rears
Size: 19" x 9"
Diameter: 19"
Width: 9"
Offset: 45mm

Here are the new tech 5's

Fronts
Size: 19 x 9.50
Width: 9
Offset: 33mm

Rears
Size: 19"
Width: 10.5
Offset 45mm

American Muscle (who I originally ordered from before going elsewhere for less) says it recommends 275/40R19 for the fronts and 285/35R19 for the rears, but according to them they recommend those numbers so people don't go above that. So can I use the 255/40/19's on the fronts and the 275/40/19's on the rears without an issues or looking weird?

Your stock tires will work just fine.

Interesting recommendation from AM, as the front tires would be taller than the rear.

That's what I was puzzled about.
I'll probably have to get new tires. I guess I have like 7 nails in different ones that they found when installing the suspension. I was told they are small and I'm not loosing air, but no idea if they can be fixed or not.
It's just so much easier to keep the same size tires for my mind lol so good to know.

Are you sure those rear wheels are 10" wide and not 10.5"?

Even if they are, 10.5" is a tire industry acceptable wheel width for 275/40 tires (though that may result in the tires having a mildly stretched appearance).

Sorry should have said 10.5 yes.
I actually went down to the tire shop who also confirmed they will work. If I go any bigger I'm worried they won't clear my fender. Not much space left lol
Plus from what I can find Michelin only makes 285/35's for the rears. I can't find 285/40. Don't want to do 40 up front and 35 on the back.

275/40's are officially OK'ed for fitment on 10.5" wide wheels (by the Tire & Rim Association, who is responsible for such things).

295/35-19's could be a possible alternative, as that size has the same outer diameter as the 255/40-19 front tires. You'd lose whatever amount of visual sidewall height stagger but gain some section width without stretching the tire. There shouldn't be any ABS issues because the 295/35 is only 2% different in diameter/revs per mile relative to the 275/40, against 3% being generally considered tolerable.
