Understood, but I just want to clarify the reason I'm considering the 10 inch is because I can't find any reps available for purchase in gloss black.

Yeah, I saw the PP1 reps in gloss black that were discontinued :(. They only have them in gunmetal now. And yeah, I've been checking out SVE & 6GR.

Wow, that's perfect then. I also don't mind the ramble, more info for me!
SVE has some great options. P6GR has some nice product too (I daily 10" P6Gr Sevens), but the wait times can be long if they're not in stock at the moment.

I'd just pick one of the many 10" front / 11" rear staggered wheel combos from SVE if I were you. It really doesn't make sense to spend good money on an undersized 10" wheel if you know you're trying to run a 305 rear tire.

Its far more important to pick the right tire however. tire compound selection counts for a lot more than tire width.

I am always a wide-rim, big-tire footprint driver. OP can afford the 11 rims, best choice, as I would if in his shoes.

10 rim not having what it takes to run the 303/35Z19 is one man's opinion. Michelin apparently disagrees.

Personal experience: 305/35/19 MPSS on a 19x11 is an absolute dream fit.

Keep in mind tire width varies by manufacturer. Some run wider than others, so it’s important to know the specs.

There’s a science to the ideal tire fitment. Squish on a tire looks cool if you’re talking about stuffing a big old tire on the rear, but it annihilates handling and the cars stability.

Yeah, the general message here from the answers is that 11 is the optimum and safest. I've been checking seeing as how Ford also sends out wheel and tires combos from factory with their performance trim ponies and it also seems to line up with the answers here.

Although, I guess another question I have is that would the grip be the same for a 305 on a 10 inch compared to a 11 inch? I know it's been said here that handling will take a hit due to the bulge, but would I need to worry about that if I was just making a fast straight line car for the streets?

The specs for each tire are based on the Meas. Rim Width, so using the example for the MPSS that Rapid Red posted above, all the the specs for the 305/35R19 are based on an 11” wide wheel. They’ll change based on the wheel size used but to what extent I don‘t know. There shouldn’t be a noticeable difference in grip but the feel/handling will be a little different. Will probably have a more numb driving feel to it.

You would give up a little bit of contact area running a 305 on a 10” vs 11” wheel. In reality, the difference would provably minimal and many people I doubt would notice. If you’re really in tune with your car, you could probably tell. There is nothing unsafe about that combo, it’s just a matter of preference if you want to squeeze every last drop out of the tire or not. If you aren’t hardcore about corner carving, that difference becomes less noticeable.
