My experience in my 2015 GT PP with ~800 miles: Notchy shifts into 2, 3, and sometimes 4. The thud. Gear whining/noise.

Dealer said all is normal.

To address the notchy shifts I switched my fluid to BG Syncro Shift 2.

Car shifts MUCH better. While not perfect, I would have put this in the "nothing wrong" category if this is what I was experiencing when I drove off the lot.

I plan to add some Dynamat to quiet it down and Steeda shifter mount to tighten it up.

I all I am left with is the thud, I will be happy - seems to me this is more of an end-to-end driveline issue. I can live with it and think it is fairly normal.

For context, I am fairly particular and my wife calls me persnickety.

If anyone is interested, I will update my progress here

That should read BG Syncro Shift II, not BR. It's been great for me over the almost 5 years in my 2011. Where in NoVA are you?

I got the steeder shifter bushing/bracket and installed it Tuesday. What a difference. I have my BG waiting to go in, as well as a whiteline trans bushing. I'm going to do it in stages and see how each improves. The steeda bushing helped a lot with the thud. It still happens, but it's a lot less frequent it seems like.

I feel the same way. The Steeda mount helped a lot with the thud. Even though my Trans works great I may change the fluid

Installed Steeda shifter base bracket / bushing today. Added some Noise and Vibration. Not a ton, but it is noticeable. However, shifting is great.

I am going to add some Dynamat to see if I can quiet it down.

I've read good things about BG Syncro Shift II. I think I will put this in my trans along with doing my first oil change. Where are you guys buying it? Locally or online? I'm having a tough time finding it anywhere.

Sithel - I went to BG website and found a local shop who carries the products. Called and asked them to buy 3 quarts for me. They were very accommodating. I paid about $20 per quart.

Update. I pulled the Steeda mount and put stock back in. If my car was not a daily driver, I probably would have left it in.

The vibrations did not bother me. What was very apparent was the increase exhaust noise in the cabin win windows up. I can see how some folks would like that. Just not for me.

I am not debating if I should even try the whiteline trans mount.

I didn't have any increase in exhaust noise at all, nor nvh. I'm not sure how a shifter mount and bushing would do anything to exhaust noise.

My thought is the trans being mounted to the body in a more ridged fashion could increase noise - why exhaust? I am not sure, but it is there. I am both surprised and disappointed. I have read some reviews stating increase in noise and vibration. I had hopes my experience would be such as yours.

I noticed it as soon as I put it in gear and backed out of my garage.

Perhaps I can return it.

I had the exact same experience with the steeds mount and now it's sitting in my closet collecting dust. I was very surprised with increase in sound and it was just too much after a week of driving in stop and go traffic.

Do you guys have a stock or aftermarket exhaust? Are you still running the sound tube?
