You're right, you did. But honestly it's a combo we haven't done before. haha

1. The Atlas really has the most up to date, since I sell that the most. I will update them all this evening to reflect that. Thanks for noticing that.

2. I don't think I've ever shot a matte clear over gunmetal. Here is the gloss though.

3. I do need to edit that page as well. Clear coat is included with engraving. You don't need to add it separately, like you used to. It would be mostly to add flake, unless you wanted to change it and not get engraving, like adding matte clear.

Thanks AM. Order placed for gunmetal 6spd titan. Should sit a little higher than stock on the tri-ax. One last thing - could you post examples of the ink black and stealth gray finishes?

A note about using one of these on the Tri-Ax shifter:

I have the full Steeda Tri-Ax and love it, and have been rocking the standard springs since installation. Those have been fine with the factory knob. Since the Atlas is such a beefy unit, though, I find that the centering from the springs isn't as firm given the additional mass to overcome. It's not a problem, but if you have a Tri-Ax and want that positive center feeling to remain I'd suggest switching the springs out to the firm set that was included with your unit. I'm planning on doing this myself this weekend.

There is a thread somewhere else I read a while back about using a heavier knob with the Tri-ax. It was recommended that you use the firmest spring.

Then I'm glad my experience lines up with recommendations!

Pulling the center console is easy, and I want to do some more work on it anyway (vinyl wrap the fake chrome on the cupholders and shifter bezel). I'll swap the springs this weekend.

Well I'm pretty bummed out. It seems that USPS has lost my knob. I got a shipping confirmation email on the 15th but when I track it the websites last update states shipping label created on the 16th. I already spoke with Derrick to double check he did ship it which he states he did so it must have been lost in shipping. Derrick is being pretty cool about and said he will make me another one if it doesn't show by the end of the week. Just sucks though because I've already been waiting 10 weeks for this one and now I'm going to have to wait a couple more. The anticipation is killing me!

That sucks Amart. Well it will be worth the wait. Did you call the local post office or go down there?

I've had the usps site say it was delivered, not be there, then show up the next day. Sketchy tracking sometimes

I've also had USPS say something was delivered when in fact they forged my signature and misplaced the package entirely.

That being said, I have no doubt Derrick has more integrity than Boomba Racing and will fix the situation rather than throwing the customer under the bus.

It sucks about the wait, though. I was on week 9 when mine finally arrived, but it really is a quality product.
