I've had my 2017 GB GT350 for almost a year now. This is GT350 #2 and it's great.

My biggest complaint is that the roads in my area look and feel like they were made by a kindergarten art class. Potholes, rough roads, broken pavement, we got everything. I don't know if the roads got worse, but lately it seems like the 350 is much less enjoyable on the street. I do not do any track driving.

Now I am at a crossroads. Do I sell the 350, trade down to a GT and use the residual for modifications?

Anyone else in a similar situation that cured the problem? The car has 2022 Pilot Super Sports and I have considered moving to a less aggressive tire to see if that helps. Stock suspension, too, with about 27,000 miles.

I don't think it will be enough of a change in ride quality as I went from a GT350 to a GT and now I'm back in a GT350 lol

Before trading cars, Iā€™d take a close look at tire alternatives. How worn are your current tires? When they approach replacement wear levels the ride is degraded substantially. Also, you could probably be happy with a different (more compliant) tire or possibly something with a bit more sidewall. Finally, what driving mode are you using? Both Sport and Track are less tolerant of bad roads than Normal. Maybe you could use Normal and adjust steering and exhaust to your liking.

If none of that helps, trading cars is the last resort but Iā€™m sure thereā€™s plenty of people who will take it off your hands. Maybe try driving a GT to see if itā€™s more to your liking.

I think tires will be the first move I make. They are nowhere near the wear marks and are otherwise in great shape. I drive in normal suspension mode only, so that won't help.

Guess I need to start looking into tires! Any suggestions?

Continental Extreme Contact Sport02 if you want to stay with a summer only high performance tire. Has a little softer ride than the Michelin IMO. I donā€™t recall the tire sizes on the 350, but if itā€™s a 30 profile tire try going to a 35 to give yourself a little more sidewall as well.

Find some 18 inch rims that will clear the GT350 brakes and install something with a sidewall.

18ā€ wheels are theoretically possible but it takes some doing. I think @ajhartman is working on a more accessible solution.

Move farther South.... the roads are quite smooth in the Southeast.

If you love the sound of the Flat-Planed crank, you will always miss the VooDoo if you get a GT.
The GT is a great car, but the VooDoo sound is so addictive.
Good Luck...!!!

Some good choices in 295/40ZR19. Put them on all 4 corners and let it roll.

Remember itā€™s the roads not the car. I live in the northeast and the roads are terrible. I have to drive close to an hour to get to good driving roads. The exploration has actually become my second hobby. It limits how often I can enjoy the car but but also makes each ride more special.

Yeah I'm fairly sure on the GT350 all I need to do is mill down about 3/8" where the caliper bolts to the hub, shorten the caliper studs the same amount, and use the 15" rotor from the PP cars... I won't know for sure till I try and tackle the project this winter.

Sometimes we just need to face the obvious.
Moved to Wyoming about 3 1/2 months ago from Central California. Sold the GT350 because I knew I couldnā€™t enjoy it like in California all year long.
Do I regret it? So far only a couple times when the weather is good enough.
Now I have a hankering for a performance truck that I can drive all year. Will probably just modify my Dodge Ram 2500 dieselā€¦.or but something else.
I believe in driving my vehicles. If I canā€™t they become liabilities in my eyes.
