I’m about to install a pair of 1/4” rear spring spacers (1/2”) lift. Will I need an alignment?

Yes. You're changing the ride height which changes the camber and toe.
Thanks ya sir.

By chance have you done them? What all goes into the install and have you ever seen a write up kicking around?

i have had them on my car for over two years, 20,000 miles and about a dozen track days with no issues at all. I installed them on my car when I installed my ford performance track susp. I dropped one side at a time and simply put the spacer on top the spring and slide the spring into place. tightened up the subframe then did the other side.

1/2" rise? Save your money. 1"+, sure, check the camber/toe.
