Decided to check the alignment after 14300 miles. I noticed that I have the prototypical accelerated wear on the inside shoulder of both front PSS tires. Sure enough I have -0.08 total toe, which is probably the culprit. I'll have to get that corrected when I buy new tires. Caster and camber are a bit off side to side, but they are non-adjustable because I don't have camber plates and I recently went back to the stock LCAs after some unfortunate luck with the SPL arms. Also the rear toe is asymmetrical so that will be something to fix too.

Where did you have that done? Ford Dealership? Following to see how you set it in the end.

Nah just a local place down the street from me since they have an in-ground rack so I don't have to worry about clearance issues. I'm taking it to a dedicated performance shop for the actual alignment.

Yup, toe front and rear is hoorriibbblllee! Thrust angle is out to lunch also. Should be zero. But fixing the toe will fit that. Rear toe matched side to side (regardless of number) will net you zero thrust.

At this point I've sort of lost hope that even religious maintenance of the alignment will keep those tires from burning through that inside edge. Its like its planned obsolescence or something. I've never gotten much more than ~20k out of any of them.

That's ok though because after 20k the performance feels like its started to fall off and time to get new tires anyway, after all its a sports car.

Yeah I'm not too upset because the tires are absolute shit now anyway. I used them for a couple of my first track events 5 years ago. But now I just use the PSS to drive around town and use SC2s for track duty.

That's a lot of toe out but one side is toed in.. no matter what you're going to get that inside wear on those tires, it's just the way they're made. By the time it gets bad its time to replace the whole set anyway.
