Might be a dumb question but after dropping it and going for the alignment do you tell the shop its been lowered so they can compensate for it or do they just put in the factory specs?
You'll want to mention that it's been lowered just so they'll know to be a little careful driving it up on the rack, or as a heads-up to observe whether they'll need to use a couple of boards to avoid scraping anything.

They'll try to set it to OE preferred, but in cases involving extreme lowering may not be able to get there using only Ford's methods.

I wonder why there's no OEM camber adjustment in the front, but there is in the rear...because they are drive wheels?
Probably because the rear end was completely redesigned and they thought about camber adjustment in the design.

The front was only slightly modified and camber adjustment from the factory was probably not on anyone's priority list.

There already is a camber adjustment procedure in place for the S197 for cars that need it, just that it's a little inconvenient. I'm guessing that something similar exists for the S550.

My understanding was that they completely revamped the front, it wasn't just a slight modification.

Use factory specs. They specs have a range so things like camber will be slightly different than when it was stock.

No. Small changes to get it to balance out with the new rear.

The rear was a significant improvement so something had to be done to the front to balance it out.

I just wonder how much did you guys pay for the alignment check ? Thanks.
I just had the Steeda Sports installed on Monday and the installer took it to an alignment shop down the block from his shop. He charged $50 for the alignment. I paid a total of $390 for install and alignment.

$50 for a 4 wheel alignment? In California?

That's either the best deal I've ever seen, or the worst alignment job. If it's not the latter, congrats on having a good place to go for that price.

It would be nice to have a thread with nothing but alignment into and pics. Hmmmm

I paid $170 @ Firestone for a lifetime alignment package after I put my springs on. They will be seeing me every six months. Tires to too expensive to risk premature wear.

$0

The cost of the digital angle finder, 50' of string, and the jackstands to stretch the strings at axle height was amortized a long time ago. The flat driveway came with the house.

My dealer (Fritts Ford) changed me $300 for the installation and alignment of my Steeda Springs.

Where did you have it done?
I had the install done at Wild Pony Motorsports in Santa Clarita. They do a lot of suspension work there and always use the dude down the block. That's why it was cheap...I hope haha. Seems to be aligned from what I can tell.
