Alibaba intercooler?

Wondering if this is real or a scam...I don't want to order it but it seems crazy cheap.

Remember that a lot of Chinese manufacturers blatantly copy other designs. And are usually inferior copies. I doubt its as good as the Mishimoto they copied. Even if it is,let your conscience be your guide.

There was someone on here a few weeks ago who purchased one and was supposed to get back to us. He posted on the 2nd to last page of 'The Big Intercooler Thread', no update as of yet.

Alibaba doesn't make anything. They are a Chinese distributor site- kinda like Amazon. Some good stuff, some junk. Mishimoto stuff is made in China, so these could easily be from the same factory.

The items shipped from China routinely take a minimum of a month to arrive, so I'm sure the guy who ordered his has not even received it yet.

FWIW, if I was buying an intercooler now, it would be a CPE.
I Foolishly thought Mishi was a USA product.

I had a levels on my ST, and it was a fine product. But the CPE has got an untouchable build quality. That matters to me.

I think it has to do with it being the best stock replacement intercooler. The cast end tanks, flow diverters, satin finish. Just a beautiful intercooler. Adam has said it is nearly on par with the levels too. It outperforms Chinese full size units no problem. I chose it because I thought I would keep the shutters, but decided to take them out. But I'm very happy with my choice. Levels too is an incredible unit made by a one man machine with US cores In the US.
