My 2016 Mustang GT with 15k miles just started doing this at random. The airbag light on the gauge cluster just randomly started coming on with the return of warm weather. I've taken this to the dealer twice now and they see the codes (sadly I don't have them on hand) but said there were two, one relating to a sensor saying it cant communicate and another having to do with a squib. This seems to be temperature related, as all winter and on the cooler spring days its fine, but if its left in a sunny spot with exterior temps in the high 60's (meaning direct sun temp would be close to 80) the light pops on. Anyone have any clues or have a similar issue? No other symptoms, engine starts and runs normal. I have not made any changes or tuned the car and last summer and fall it was fine.
