That is actually a neat idea removing the aluminum. I like the Airaid setup better then just a filter that sits there. It looks much better enclosed and it's neat that you can see inside haha

Waiting to see some 0-60 gains. Cant justify spending 360 just for looks and a little growl at high rpms

I'm with you here I got the intake with a tune and my 0-60 time improved quite a bit. No one else has done any runs yet.

So u can actually feel a difference ? Hell yea!
Yeah I can. I'm glad I held out and waited until it came out instead of wasting $60 on a k&n filter. I agree with you though it is expensive.

Cool thanks for sharing. I would like to get a tune as well, did you get a custom tune done locally or did u buy a tuner with built in tunes?

Joe you're gonna end up making me pull the trigger on the tune... I swore to myself i was gonna wait till my warranty is over before messing with tunning. I'm only 3000 miles in and considering it already LOL

I bought the tuner expecting it to come with pre-loaded tunes and it did not. So I got a tune made for my car from unleashed tuning. That is the only guy I know that provides tunes for our car at this point.
