Which one should I buy, which one has a better sound?
Not to confuse your trivial decision any more but, I would hold out for JLT's CAI!!
It has the slightest bend of them all and will likely have the best performance. I really wanted the Roush but JLT is nearly ready to push their products out:

If you can't wait, Roush would be the best bet I fell. Just my opinion.

Isn't Roush a rebadged Airaid? Also saw that K&N bought Airaid.

Pays your money & takes your choice. They all look good.

Alright Guys.
My Roush CAI arrived today at the dealer. Just got back from picking it up. So,hopefully I can get in installed before their Car show this weekend. It stinks working extra long days. So much too do and so little time.

Will posts some picks after putting it in. And provide a update from the Butt Dyno.

I'd agree with that, but they look completely different. I have the Airaid, which comes with a more smoother inner curved tube and closed filter box.
The new Roush one that I've seen for the V6 is an open filter box and has a more outer curved tube. (assuming I saw the right pictures)
I'd almost bet they have the same output though

Here is the photos of the Roush. Took a whole 30 minutes to install. We will see how it performs tomorrow. Just so everyone know. Roush owns SLP. They produce all of their own products. Look them us. They own many divisions up in Livonia Michigan. I think you will be impressed.

Any results worth noting? Sound level increase in cabin? Throttle response increase?

Here is a update. So far from what I have noticed. When you hit it hard the sound increase starts around 2,000 RPM. It really wakes up the motor. When you are easy on the throttle you start you notice it around 2,500 RPM. For me it goes well with the Roush exhaust. Makes it sound smoother.
I would be curious what Inlet Air Temperature it reduces. On the way into the car show yesterday morning. It was 70 deg. A cool morning. Air inlet temp was around 80-85 Deg.on the highway. Will monitor more as I do extremely congested highway always on my way home from work. Mon -Fri. About 40 miles each way.

Keep ya posted.

It's been about a week and now 2 tank refills. Seams the computer has made the needed adjustments. Really smooth power and great sound. I don't regret in any way making this purchase.

Would averaged before 24.3 miles per gallon every day. That's 40 miles highway in the morning drive (non-stop) and evening bumper to bumper, stop and go 40 miles home.

Now after the install I averaged 26.4. Same drive and same traffic conditions.

Soo far soo good.

Anyone know if the Roush CAI is warranty friendly and will dealer do the install? I notice at my service dept they have a whole section of Roush products.

The Roush CAI does not void the factory warranty

I was told by my Roush dealer if they install the parts. They carry a 36 month and 36,000 miles warranty. Not sure what warranties other aftermarket companies have. I do see on Roush's web-site the Air Intake says 90 days. Maybe that is on the filter alone? Or If an individual installs the unit themselves?

Hope that helps
