Air popping sound from engine bay. Bad Purge Valve?

Basically sounds like air popping randomly. I read thats most likely purge valve failure. Uppon coming to a stop in neutral my RPMs drop to like 400-500 almost stalling.. and it did stall once. Also got check fuel inlet to pop up on the dash. No cell.. just popped up like a low fuel warning pop up.
