Don't expect a whole lot out of the 93 tune. You'll certainly get your money's worth on flex and E85 but with a 93 octane tune and some catless headers you may get some decent gains opening the exhaust up.And for the tunes Ive seen availbe for the Mach 1's ,no one is really posting before and after results.
Would defintely like to know what your getting as good tuning has gotten quite expensive over the past couple of years.Hate to spend close to a grand on something with minimal results.
With headers and the GT350 manifold, this car probably puts down some serious power on E85.Wengerd performance says about 470whp on E85 tune, that may actually be worth the investmet if you have quality E85 availble in your area
What do you guys do with the A10 tuning, do you fix all it's issues? This would be my main reason to tune.
-In Normal mode, it lugs, trys to go into 9th or 10th gear when you are only doing 40mph.We have alot of time and experience with the 10r80 from my 18GT and 21GT while developing tuning.
What exact issues are are you talking about?

Yeah the video I saw from lund it was called PCMTEC, itsLund just announced tuning similar to Ecutek if anyone has heard of that before. No more reflashing. Your tunes are set on 1, 2, and 3k rpm and you switch to what you want and go. Not sure if this will be for 21's and up but I had this on a 2013 FR-S and it was great and simple to use.
I'll probably go with Wengerd Performance this time though. Lund guys are extremely cocky and only care about drag racing. You'll know what I'm talking about if you're in their customer FB group. Wengerd sounds more of my style. Tune and logs catered to my car and making sure it's running as good as it can. Not just "within specs".
Also is does require a supporting device and will initially be for the Gen 2 & Gen 3 according to lundYeah the video I saw from lund it was called PCMTEC, its
a multi tune like you described and it seems similar to MOTEC but not sure what models or years it will be for.
I had this happen to me yesterday when coming to a quick stop using paddles. Car got confused and almost died, then the rpm’s started fluctuating up and down until I put in D .Have definitely experienced these two issues:
- In Normal mode the trans wants to shift into 9th or 10 gear going only 40mph. Would be great to just have the transmission select each gear sequentially in Normal mode rather then skip gears like it does.
I would also add, when using the paddles, if you have to come to a stop suddenly and don't have time to down shift back to 1st, just as the car stops, the transmission shudders slightly causing the car to lurch/jerk forward. If you have time to paddle shift back to second, then first at very low speed then its a smooth stop, this has to be a tuning issue.
- In Normal/S on shifter mode the downshifting is super aggressive when braking for no reason. Yes, particularly on a steep decline if you touch the brakes the transmission down shifts to a gear far lower then needed.
It is for 2015 to 2022+ Mustang 5.0s and 2018-2020 f150s Initially. F150 3.5L and mustang 2.3 ecoboost support will be available soon after. Also is does require a supporting device and will initially be for the Gen 2 & Gen 3 according to lund
