Personally, I would not.
The blind spot indicator is incredibly helpful, at least for me. I have been very grateful for that indicator in a few instances where it avoided a possible accident.

If you don't pay attention to the blind spot indicator or ignore it, go right ahead and change it out for this mod. You can always return it if you don't like it.
Well like i mentioned, my car doesn’t already have that indicator. I just have the small corner mirror. I wish i would’ve gotten that feature

I'd rather have the little spotter mirror like yours!

On second thought, I'd like to have both. LOL Coming from a F250 with tow mirrors the mirrors were/are the hardest part about getting used to this car.

Just tape something over the blind spot mirror portion and drive for a couple of days to see if it really matters to you...
Personally, that little mirror is the first thing I look at.

Completely OT, I know, but that's a great website with a LOT of topics. The articles are well written, if short sometimes, and it's easy to spend 20-30 minutes on there learning new things or being reminded of some things you may have forgotten.

Anyway, the advice on setting your mirrors is spot on and very similar to how I've done mine for years. I still added the little convex mirrors for backing into parking spots, but that's yet another topic.

The BLIS indicators on my mirrors are a nice addition and I use them quite a lot in Houston traffic. They're especially helpful for letting me know that someone has ended up beside me without their headlights on in the dark, so I do keep my head on a swivel if for no other reason than that.
