Hello everyone. So I was browsing on AM since I have credit available to use up and came across these CDC sequential turn signal mirrors. They caught my attention and I started looking into it and I kinda of like them in a weird way. So I was only able to find 2 videos on installation. One from AM and one from CjPony. And they’re straightforward, just plug and play. But in the comments for the Cj. There were some people saying that it’s not worth losing your “blind spot”. So I wanted to come on here and see if anyone know any info on this ? I have a 2020 GT premium non pp so mine doesn’t come with the BLIS feature. I just have the standard mirror that has the smaller one in the corner. I would actually like to get them but do you actually lose safety with these?

If yours doesn't have BLIS then you won't be loosing anything,

Yeah mine doesn’t have BLIS. Just that my Question is, since I have the small corner mirror for wider angle and these are just 1 whole mirror. Will I be losing that? Or do these mirrors have wide angle view like the SUMMA. The Turn signal, are built into the mirror so will they be in my way in my blind spots? I really like these but I’d rather be safer on the road than cooler on road

Looks like you would be giving up the spotting mirrors.

Yeah, but would it be a major difference? I guess that would be my main question. Would it be annoying trying to spot cars in my blind spot with these?

Just something that you would have to be conscious of. I have BLIS, but, I still double check the area.

Lucky, I wish my car had BLIS. Just a really neat feature, I mean I still double check. But just seeing the light light up in the corner of my eye would just give me a heads up and I like that

I have these "BLIS Indicator w/ Aspheric glass" ( SKU:1511-7053-01b ) on my 2019. Yes I have BLISS but the Aspheric is what REALLY makes them better than stock. I also like the fact the BLISS light is closer to the center of the car vs WAY out as far from center as possible. I know that's not your concern as you don't have BLISS, but I'd still get them. Be VERY careful pulling the old mirrors off. One went well. The other I ripped off the inner mounting and had to purchase new guts to physically attach the glass. LOL!!

Does the one I’m looking to get without blis come with the Aspheric glass? I can’t seem to find info. And do you have pictures of yours? Or videos?

Here's CDC website listing the options they offer.
2015-21 Mustang Sequential Mirrors - Classic Design Concepts

I don't know the exact ones you're looking at.
.

I’m trying to get the “objects in mirror are losing”😂. With the heat feature but Without the BLIS since my car doesn’t have BLIS. And wow they look pretty neat! On AM it’ll cost me 240. But like mentioned earlier I have credit to use up

Personally, I would not.
The blind spot indicator is incredibly helpful, at least for me. I have been very grateful for that indicator in a few instances where it avoided a possible accident.

If you don't pay attention to the blind spot indicator or ignore it, go right ahead and change it out for this mod. You can always return it if you don't like it.
