I bought a MBRP Pro-Series catback (3”) recently for cheap cause the guy cut off the original connectors that go into the factory headers/cats.

I’ve tried to look up what I’d need to clamp or weld on in order to make this catback exhaust connect into the factory headers/cats. From my research, it seems 3” OD outlet to slide into the MBRP 3” piping, and 2.25” OD inlet to slide into the factory headers/cats. Is this accurate? I’ve seen some debate online and just want clarification. Hopefully someone has first-hand experience with this to confirm.

Thanks!

Man I don’t know if I could bring myself to keep the 2.25” bottleneck if you are already missing half of it. The stock pipe swages from 2.5” to 2.25” right upstream of that connection, so you could just go 2.5” to 3” and lose 100% of the 2.25” part.
