Connection Pipe Question

I’m looking to take advantage of some sales this week and pick up some headers. My question is are connection pipes universal? For example, If I get Kooks headers could I use Corsa connection pipes to mate them? Or if I get factory connection pipes, and I want to go full 3” system to a catback, can I get different connection pipes?

If anything I can always have something fabbed up, but my buddy has some connections he would give me for cheap so if i figured I’d just ask.
