So, just found this one out VIA youtube...

We all know that if you touch the 'Traction Control' button (Or, flip the switch on the premium mods), then it obviously toggles the function on or off...

But...

I've just learned that if you HOLD DOWN for 5 seconds or, so-Then
"Advanced Traction Control' is turned off!!! I was able to spin doughnuts with the greatest of ease after doing this!!!

Apparently, just pressing the button normally, does indeed remove the 'Traction control' but, still leaves some sort of control on.

This is a really cool thing to know, for those who like to play 'old School' with their mustangs, and let the booty slide around a bit.

***ALSO, (ANOTHER TRICK) if you click the unlock button twice on your key Fob-while holding it down for 5-7 seconds, maybe longer, not really sure but, it it rolls your windows down for you, I suppose to air out the car as you are walking up to it on a hot summer day?****

Yes you're right about advance track usage, 5 seconds and it's off. At that point your on your own buddy:eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge: Something to think about here, I did a test on a closed road they are building down here during a heavy thunderstorm. I had the system off with just pressing it once and wanted to see what the car would do if I powered out of a corner (hoping for oversteer) the car still cut power to the wheel, keeping me from getting too sideways. The second attempt full system off, had the back end out and about :p. I turned it on to do another test to see what the car does with sudden swerve lane changes, again the system did an excellent job keeping the vehicle in control

So overall it works great to save your butt in bad weather and stays out of your way when you really want get brave. Be safe have fun. :headbang:

Side note I could never get the dam windows to roll down with the key fob. everything else works "remote start, etc" maybe I have to get my key reset or something I have a v6 auto I haven't read anything saying it won't work with the base car.

I've had mine off since day 1 and I still think there is some sort of interference in certain situations. Either that or the OEM LSD is shit. Or both... I'm switching to a Torsen from the GTPP for sure.

For the guy having issues with windows rolling down, make sure the auto windows setting is turned on in your settings menu in the dash board. You must have auto up and down windows for this function to work.

On my 370z it didn't ever turn all the way off either. It would still intervene and try to straighten the car if braking and cornering at the same time (trail braking). I had to disconnect the yaw sensor in the center console to get it to completely disable. When I took the Mustang to Texas World Speedway I didn't push the car hard enough to tell if it was completely disabled when I turned it off.

I love the feature of opening the window via remote. What I can't understand is why we can't close them. Makes no sense to me.

I turned it off just by pressing it once but when I held it in for 5 seconds nothing happened. I didn't see nothing about advanced traction control it just said traction control off.

You have to have your foot on the brake while holding the button for 5 seconds

Did you remove the fuse for traction control? I haven't done that one thus far.
