Yesterday advance trac warning came on and also power steering, traction control and abs lights. Had the battery checked at the Ford dealer and checked ok.
Today when I started the car all the lights were still on and I had no power steering. So I pulled all the wheels and cleaned all abs sensors and toothed rotors with alcohol. Also checked the rear axle nuts for proper torque. Checked related fuses and all ok. This was all done at a friends house. When I left his place on initial start up I had all the lights still on so I hit the ok button and the advance trac and power steering lights went out but I still had no power steering and abs and traction control lights remained on. The drive home is about twenty miles and neither the advance trac or the steering warning came back on and yesterday they would come back on almost immediately after I erased them with the ok button. Curious things these cars. So, i'm getting some help on Forscan since i'm clueless about it. One person on 6g said they'd had similar problems and after cleaning all sensors they had to drive about sixty miles before it reset and stayed that way. Tomorrows another day and we shall see. Thanks to everyone for all the help.

Abs light takes a while to clear. When this happened to me it was the rear driver's hub but after changing it, it took several days to clear. And I think key cycles matter, got home with the light still on at day 3 and assumed the hub didn't fix it. Woke up day 4 and fired it up and as I rolled out of my driveway it turned off.

How'd you know it was that hub? Code?

Only code was some abs code. I believe it was invalid input from module. If your abs light is on I'm surprised the dealer couldn't pull an abs code. Not all household scanners will but i would think theirs would? No other codes though, abs rings and sensors all looked good. I cleaned them up anyway first but nothing changed. No play in any of my wheels but I found multiple old posts with the same issues and it was the rear drivers hub so I threw one in and problem solved.

You‘re gonna need to put some more miles on it and it will clear. Gas up and take it back out for a mix of city and highway driving. Please report back how many miles it took to clear. Thanks

Well I'm at a loss so far but some codes need a little mileage to reset the computer so well see. I wish I had another battery to throw in just to make sure even though the dealers tester showed good. Tested alternator and battery today also and all good. I'll keep digging.

This is why I suggested a good scan tool. Mine, a $350 ish one, reads quite a bit of live data, some of which can be graphed. Wheel speed sensors are often included. Driving down the road, you can compare the 4 sensors to see if they are all reading the same.
Forscan may do it as well, probably can.

I highly doubt it's your battery. Yes batteries can cause weird electrical gremlins but your most likely experiencing this because of an issue involving one of your wheels (bearing, abs sensor, thrust washer, etc). All the systems your having issues with are connected. They aren't random issues.
