Last week I added the FP Power Pack Stage 2 . Installation was seamless and less than an hour including download.
The car started immediately and there is a slight but noticeable change to the sound even at idle. Definitely gains at low rpm and pulls hard past 7k . No lift shift is seamless and glitch free.
it is definitely quicker and the mid range is stronger. lost about 1mpg running cruise control at 90 otw from Dallas to Houston.
I’m very happy with the end result and until I go FI this will do me just fine. For an out of the box addition I think it off very worthwhile unless you’re chasing every last horsepower or a perfect tune.
The bolt on the firewall wasn’ta big deal, and fit was excellent.

Thank you for this. I find the car quick enough when hammering it past 4k or so. But right now, I'd like it to pick up more power and throttle response at say 1800 RPM to 3300 RPM or so. I usually cruise around 2k to 2500 and find the throttle can be quite delayed around that area. What kind of improvements have you felt in that range?

What trans and rear gears are you running?

Lazarus, I have the 6m with 355s . The throttle can be soft still but it definitely has a gain . Where i would usually downshift , particularly at 1800-2k or so on a light grade it will pull now whereas before a shift was almost a must-nothing like a rocket but it definitely has more, at 3k up it is exponentially better. Around Houston I find myself in the 22-2500 range most often , but traffic on the beltway on afternoons is around 1800-2k. hope that helps

Excellent pictures. Nice to have before and after pictures of components.
Thanks, we had a really good time doing it and driving it after lol

I did my 2020 pp2 car a few weeks ago. Very pleased. It should have been on the car to start with. It does run very good and pulls hard.

Agree it’s a great mod for the money! The cold starts do sound louder and exhaust has a bit more growl to it. I was impressed with how responsive the throttle was. Makes the stock tune feel so lazy.

Do you need to use the no lift shift? Like can I still shift it normally? Also, I like to sometimes start in 2nd, but sometimes it feels like it bogs down, do you think it would make starting in 2nd easier?

You certainly don’t need to use NLS, just know that you need to deliberately and positively lift when shifting to avoid the stutter. And, more torque down low but be careful of punishing your clutch with 2nd gear starts...

No lift shift is for those foot to the floor 5K+ upshifts, normal driving shift normally.

Definitely putting wear on the clutch with 2nd gear starts, practice will make you smoother with first and dont be afraid to rev a little

So I saw a loss of about 1mpg at elevated hwy speeds on cc (90mph) coming home from Dallas after the mod . After another tank of gas , driving back and forth to work involving mixed driving conditions of both stop and go and 75mph hwy driving with no cc due to heavy traffic, i saw a gain of appx 1.6 mpg on this tank. smae driving habits. Interesting to say the least lol Neither are large changes and conditional changes may factor in such a small variation but this is what i have noted.

I had it on my 16 auto with 3.55 rear end and it was a great bang per buck improvement. Brought it from to 435 to 460 if you believe the numbers being advertised. Have to say that the Gen 3 Coyote on my Bullitt feels quite a bit stronger than that. No idea about the real numbers for all of these different set ups, just judging buy my gut feeling.

My car pings with FRPP2. I even re-installed it several times. Only 91 octane is available in my area.

Oil catch cans improved the situation, also swapping MAF betwen intakes, but it's still there.

I put the FP PP2 on in December 2019. NLS works perfectly fine. Got 27.7 mpg avg on a roadtrip from Memphis, TN to Kansas City, MO. Didn't really notice the torque boost down low, due to not really drag racing. But the additional power in the middle of the band is noticeable, when running each gear to the rev limit. And, rev limit kicked up to 7150 rpms is nice too!

I had my Power Pack 2 installed at the Ford Nationals in 2018 and LOVED it immediately. I thought I'd lost the link from MotoIQ that evaluated the Ford Performance Power Packs, but just refound it and wanted to share it so we don't lose it. PP2 gives nearly 30 hp and 30 ft-lb over the stock GT, and to me, the best part was the big kick in the low range torque!
