The recordings from cell phones do not give the same impression of the engine rap as driving next to a concrete barrier or a drive through town. The live performance is best in this case.

True. The video makes it seem like nothing, but I assure you it’s horrendous. Not what I paid 40k for

Test Drove a 19 301a a10 car over the weekend. It's a little premature, but I wanted to see if I was going to like the A10, and I definatly do. Hopefully my buy back get's approved and I can Swing The extra $ for the upgrade to an a10car

Dropped the car off at the dealer yesterday for the short block replacement. In the meantime my buy claim is moving forward. I was asked to provide them with the payoff amount and the original purchase contract. My problem is that I’m in a total financial shit storm right now and if my car gets bought back or exchanged I might not be able to afford another vehicle. I’m starting to think my best option is to let them fix my car and see if maybe I can get an extended warranty out of them

58 days since my car was officially diagnosed as needing a new short block, and I have neither my car nor a replacement vehicle. The buy back/replacement has been approved I’m just waiting on a work sheet and the dealer tells me my car will be ready tomorrow. However when I stopped by the dealership on my way home tonight I could see my car in the shop with no engine in it, and while it is certainly possible to put the engine in in the course of a work day, I sincerely doubt it will be done tomorrow. I’m frustrated to say the least at this point. I’m totally at fords mercy and they know it.

Can you post the mileage deduction they offer you?

Their offer was for 4,047 for the mileage deduction however they based this on the wrong mileage and are revising their offer. I believe the revised number will be around 2,700. I guess I’m happy that they are not charging me for the upgrades

Funny you mention that, my score has been swinging 60pts each way the last 6 months, I lucked out when I got rid of the 18 for a 19 with the interest at 3% .. If i was in your shoes, 2 months later my score dipped 50 points and I would get shafted hard on interest.. Might be cheaper to keep her.

Almost ready to seal the deal on a substitution of collateral. I should be stepping into a 19 in the next week or so

That sounds good - did RAV help you out with a waiver?

They waived the upgrade amount for the a10 and the black accent package, but not the mileage fee. As soon as they correct the mileage charge to reflect the mileage of the first time I took it in , I will gladly accept their offer

I have accepted the latest offer from rav. I guess all I have to do is go to the dealership and sign some paperwork and pay the fee for the mileage. I’m pretty anxious to do that. This whole process has been incredibly stressful and frustrating, and I’ll be super happy to get into a new S550

Maybe a little premature, but F’it. This will be the new ride. 19 magnetic metallic, A10, and black accent package.

Dumb question but I assume a lemon buyback, can also result in you being cut a check minus deduction for mileage right? In the event you don’t want another Ford.
