Active Exhaust Pigtail Question

Hey guys, So i have a 2022 Mach 1 with only 4k miles I recently got. I love the car, its so fun to drive. Im coming from a 2017 GT with no active and over the years Ive been reading on here about guys who have had issues with their active exhaust wiring getting messed up and causing problems.

1. Do we know if this was ever fixed by Ford? Do 2022 Model Year cars still have this issue?
2. Car of course has no issues now mileage is very low but what can I do to get ahead of the issue so it DOESNT happen to me?

This mostly happens when people remove their resonator and replace it with an H/X pipe. It requires cutting the stock exhaust at the proper spot and if it's not done correctly it can push the mufflers back causing the wiring to rub against the body.

Seems to happen on the passenger side more often and as long as you check it and find a way to keep it from rubbing (if it is) it shouldnt be an issue.

I havent had any issues personally and only heard of a few people that have.

Ok, when I got the car the only mod was a X pipe resonator delete. I guess Ill have to get under their and see what it looks like.

Mine happen while stock, then worst when I had x pipe installed. Remedy was taking 1/2 inch off pipe in front of resonator/ x/h pipe pushing the actuator away from the body. Did not change looks at all. Probably where it should have been all along.

I am aware of the problem and have not had an issue. I do look up and study the wiring and connectors occasionally, while doing routine checks for this or that.

i replaced mine in mid 2023 with p/n JR3Z-14A411-H . you could call the ford performance phone number and see if that is the latest revision.

Mine has recently started giving me the "exhaust selection not available" on the dash and it goes to normal mode. It's really only happening when it's wet out, once the roads and car dries out it works fine. Gonna have to get under there and fix the wiring. Didn't start doing this until 53,000 miles with an H pipe installed at like 5,000 miles.

Loves to happen when you put a mid-pipe on the car, pushes the exhaust back a little to where there wires rub.
